Active Members

TMGMA is the leader in the profession of Medical Practice Management in Tennessee.  We provide resources through education, mentoring, networking, and advocacy.  We are made up of members from across the state of Tennessee. Active members are actively engaged in management or leadership of one of the following two types of organizations:

An Active member is one who meets one of the following criteria for membership:

(i) An individual who is directly employed in management or administrative support services by an entity formally organized to provide or facilitate the provision of healthcare services.

(ii) An individual employed by a management organization, hospital/health system, practice management firm or other business entity responsible for managing any operational component(s) of an entity providing healthcare services. This includes consultants who are responsible for operations of one or more practices on an ongoing basis.

(iii) Healthcare providers/clinicians who hold an active license in the state are also considered active members.

Affiliate Members

An Affiliate Member is from an organization that provides products and/or services to the health care industry. Affiliate membership is required in order to participate as an exhibitor and/or sponsor at a TMGMA event. Affiliate Members are entitled to one non-voting affiliate membership.

As an Affiliate Member, you have access to administrators and managers across the state, you can submit educational articles for our bi-monthly newsletter, and become eligible to be a presenter at one of our ten local MGMA chapters or at one of the two yearly state meetings.
