Summary: This informative session offers guidance on overcoming MIPS's most challenging aspects: the difficulty of relying on the EMR, the benefits of working with the MIPS MVP program, and helpful details to better understand the cost category.

The presenters will explain the benefits of working with a registry compared to the challenges currently facing all clinical administrators relying on their EMR and other practice management technology to address the demands of MIPS reporting.  We will detail the benefits of moving from traditional MIPS to the MIPS MVP program and end the session with a tutorial on discovering your cost details and understanding what factors are driving your cost score.

    Objectives:

    • Describe the benefits of MIPS reporting via a registry versus their in-house EMR
    • Evaluate the impact of traditional MIPS versus the MIPS MVP program
    • Identify their cost results and solutions to improve the cost category score
