For most medical practices, real estate is typically one of their highest expenses, only second to payroll. There are dozens of factors that determine the outcome in every purchase or lease negotiation. A properly or poorly negotiated transaction can impact a practice by tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars over a ten-year period. With this much at stake, it is paramount to maximize every commercial real estate opportunity through essential strategies. During this webinar we will educate, prepare and equip medical professionals, managers and administrators to fully understand how to approach any commercial real estate transaction they will encounter in each stage of their career or practice, including practice transitions. We will also discuss the considerations between leasing vs. purchasing, office space vs. retail space, how to maximize your real estate budget, and more.

Presenter:
Amanda Blackwood is a Broker for CARR in Washington, supporting healthcare clients. Prior to joining CARR, Amanda spent 12 years in the Commercial Furniture industry and has always had a passion for helping professional clients set up their offices. Amanda graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Oklahoma State University. Amanda was born and raised in Oklahoma but now calls Seattle home where she lives with her husband, three very active boys and two dogs! Amanda is also a proud member of the Cherokee Indian Tribe.
