Director, Provider Recruitment - UTROP, Memphis

Summary:

Responsible for the provider recruitment program for UT Regional One Physicians including employed and contracted providers.  Provides consultation, support, leadership, strategic oversight, and tactical management to identify, attract, and hire the highest quality practitioners in partnership with UTHSC Department Chairs/Clinical leaders, ROH’s Senior Leadership and UTROP’s leadership. This position works in collaboration with organizational leaders to assess current and future workforce needs, design provider recruitment strategies to meet short-term and long-term goals, and operate responsibly per legal and regulatory compliance standards.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Administration, Marketing or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience Requirement:

Five (5) years provider recruitment, healthcare recruitment experience or other related experience.

N/A

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

·         Ability to lead and motivate individuals and groups to achieve work requirements and organizational goals visible and active in the organization.

·         Proficient in Microsoft office, Windows, Excel, spreadsheet analysis and word processing.

·         Strong interviewing skills for establishing successful rapport with candidates and gathering information for hiring decisions.

·         Maintains current working knowledge of fair market valuations (FMV’s) and relevant trends in provider compensation and total benefit offering.

·         Strong interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining rapport with referral sources and community.

·         Excellent comprehension skills for understanding needs and concerns and developing and applying solutions.

·         Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly for a successful outcome.

·         Thorough knowledge of recruitment practices including recruitment and screening.

·         Demonstrated effective organizational, communication and analytical skills, and maintain control of workflow.

·         Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with management and employees on employment issues.

·         Ability to articulate effectively and with tact and diplomacy.

Supervision Provided by this Job:

·               Manages assigned staff.
